Our History
Brian Walsh Funerals also known as Cobram Funerals was established in 1994 by Brian & Joanne Walsh and is a locally owned and operated funeral service catering for all religious faiths as well as civil funeral services.<br>
June 2019 sees all the funeral services in Cobram- Barooga joining together into one organisation. Brian and Joanne Walsh will continue in their roles as owners and principle employees of Brian Walsh Funerals along with all of their existing employees.
They will now be joined by Pat Quinane of Quinane and Todd. The opportunity to acquire the other funeral services in Cobram and amalgamating these services came about when the previous owners of Quinane and Todd made the strategic decision to concentrate on their main business in Benalla. All terms, conditions and quoted prices on all prepaid funerals will be honored by the new owners.

To the staff at Cobram Funerals, wish to express my heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful celebration that you all created for my mother. It was a truly beautiful service, and I was extremely grateful for the time and effort your staff invested in making this just right for Mum. Your professionalism was outstanding. The selection of venue was perfect as was the greeting you provided for those guests in attendance. A big thank you to Beck and the staff who compiled the Order of Service booklet and the amazing slide show that truly encapsulated my mother's wonderful life. I appreciate the behind the scenes work of Kath. Although we didn't see it, I am confident Kath made my Mum look her very best on the day. Finally, I am truly grateful for the guidance provided by David and Kim who organised the entire day from the celebrant and flowers right through to cremation and more. Their calm and sympathetic guidance meant that many of the worries associated with such a process were alleviated. It is a challenge to know what to do in such an emotionally difficult time. Therefore, your timely communication, organisation, advice, friendly chats, reassurance and leadership were truly valued.
