We met Raynor and Laurie through dairy farm competitions and formed a lasting friendship formed by the motivation that comes from talking with positive and like minded people . Their dedication and attention to detail with the breeding and care of their herd was rewarded when they won the Commercial Dairy herd of the year in the late 1980’s. They were great role models and inspired us to replicate their achievement. Raynor was instrumental in introducing me to Genealogy and encouraged me to write a yearly newsletter to preserve family history. We looked forward to receiving her card and newsletter each Christmas and reading about her travel adventures, patchwork/craft projects, her family and pet.
She was an extremely talented person and will be missed by her family and friends. We extend our deepest condolences.
