Cobram Funerals provide a large range of services to cater for all your personal needs. These services include, but are not limited to – Funeral Services for all Religious faiths and Denominations Civil Funeral Services, Burial Services, Cremation Services, Embalming and Overseas Repatriation.
We are based in Cobram, Victoria on the Murray River. Our location puts us on the border of the Shires of Moira and Berrigan as well as the border between Victoria and N.S.W. This allows us to service the townships of Cobram, Barooga, Strathmerton, Tocumwal, Numurkah, Nathalia, Yarrawonga and Mulwala as well as travelling to places like Bendigo, Albury and Melbourne for burial and / or cremation services.

Notifying relatives

When notifying a relative of a death, be clear, concise, and compassionate. It's best to inform them in person if possible, or by phone if they are far away, using simple and direct language. Offer support and let them know you are there for them.

Legal guidance

Having a will is crucial for funeral arrangements as it ensures your wishes regarding your final farewell are known and followed, preventing potential disputes and easing the burden on your loved ones during a difficult time.

Social Media

Be mindful of social media. Consider delaying social media announcements until close family and friends have been notified. Ask others to refrain from posting until the immediate family has had a chance to share the news.

Their calm and sympathetic guidance meant that many of the worries associated with such a process were alleviated. It is a challenge to know what to do in such an emotionally difficult time. Therefore, your timely communication, organisation, advice, friendly chats, reassurance and leadership were truly valued.
